    Custom Tissue Paper Colour Options

From single colour to full CMYK. Bespoke printed tissue paper in any colour you need.

Colour is usually the first thing people notice about your tissue paper. Get it right and it reinforces your brand instantly. Get it wrong — even slightly — and it just looks off. That's why we offer both Pantone spot colour matching and full CMYK printing, depending on what your design needs.

Most of our customers go with one or two spot colours. It keeps things clean, keeps costs down, and gives you an exact colour match every time you reorder. If your design is more complex — gradients, photographs, lots of colours — then CMYK is the better option, though it does come at a higher price point.

Colour Tips for Custom Tissue Paper

Screen colours and print colours are different. The colour you see on your monitor is displayed using light (RGB), but printing uses ink (CMYK or Pantone). This means colours will always look at least slightly different in print than they do on screen. Pantone matching eliminates guesswork because you're specifying an exact ink formula, not an on-screen approximation.

Dark colours on tissue paper use more ink. Tissue paper is thin, so heavy ink coverage affects how the paper handles — it can feel stiffer and take longer to dry. If you want a dark background colour (like navy or black), flood printing on 17gsm works well. For very high ink coverage, 30gsm handles it better because the extra weight absorbs ink without warping.

White doesn't print on white. If your logo includes white elements, they'll only show up on a coloured or flood-printed background. On white tissue paper, white parts of your design simply won't appear — they'll be the paper itself. If you need white elements, consider black tissue paper or a coloured flood print as your base.

Keep it simple for best results. The most effective tissue paper designs tend to be clean and uncomplicated. A single-colour logo repeat on white tissue is classic for a reason — it looks professional, prints consistently, and costs less. Save the complex full-colour designs for when your artwork really needs it.

    Spot Colours (Pantone)

When your brand colour needs to be exactly right. We match to Pantone so it's consistent every time.

    • • Your exact brand colour
    • • Same every single print run

    CMYK (Full Colour)

When you need all the colours. Great for detailed artwork, photos, or when you can't pick just one colour.

    • • Literally any colour you can imagine
    • • Handles complex designs
    • • Photos and gradients work fine
